Start your morning by exploring Old Delhi, a former center of Moghul Power. Discover ancient monuments like the Red Fort built in 1648 and Jama Masjid completed in 1658 by Shah Jahan who also built the Taj Mahal. Don’t miss out on Raj Ghat, a simple memorial to Mahatma Gandhi as well. In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of New Delhi’s stately British Era buildings designed by Lutyens including India Gate and Presidential Palace. Visit Humayun’s Tomb which was a predecessor of the world-famous Taj Mahal before ending at Qutab Minar’s towering minaret. After having breakfast this morning, take a drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest for the evening. Then, explore some of the city’s highlights before visiting a Rajasthani folk dance restaurant for dinner. Spend the night in your hotel room afterwards.

Today is a great day to explore Jaipur with the Diwan Holidays Guide! We will start the city tour by visiting Amber Fort, located just outside of Jaipur. You can experience an elephant ride up to the main gate for a truly unique journey. After lunch, we’ll visit City Palace where you can see antiques and weaponry from the ruling family. Additionally, we will make stops at Hawa Mahal (the “Palace of Winds”) and Jantar Mantar Observatory to view its vast astronomical instruments. Finally, take some time to stroll through the colorful bazaar before returning back to your hotel for rest and an overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast, we will drive to Agra and visit Fatehpur Sikri along the way. Our local guide from Diwan Holidays will meet us there and take us on a tour of this impressive sandstone fortress built in the 16th century. Afterwards, we’ll continue our journey to Agra where we’ll check into our hotel before going out for an afternoon city tour with our guide. We’ll start by visiting Agra Fort, an important fort of the Mughal dynasty, then proceed to Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World – which was built by Shahjahan as a tribute to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal; here you can enjoy watching the sunset over its magnificent amalgam of Persian & Hindu architecture. Later on, explore some markets selling stunning marble art pieces unique to Agra before spending your evening free at leisure around town or back to your hotel room.

This morning, our driver will take you back to Delhi via the express highway. Upon arriving in Delhi, they will transfer you to the domestic airport where you can catch your flight to Cochin. Once there, our car driver will meet and greet you at the airport before transferring you safely to your hotel in Cochin. You’ll have some free time in the evening before settling down for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Today, we visit Cochin and explore the city’s rich cultural heritage. We’ll check out the Jewish synagogue, Portuguese churches, mosques and Hindu temples as well as watch the Chinese Fishing Nets in action.

Later on, we will drive to Munnar – one of South India’s most popular hill stations located at the confluence of three mountain streams: Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. This was once a summer resort for British officers during colonial times. With its sprawling tea plantations, picture-book townscapes, winding lanes and trekking opportunities; Munnar is sure to provide an unforgettable experience! Overnight stay at hotel.

We will be leaving early in the morning for Periyar, one of the earliest wildlife sanctuaries established in 1934. It covers an area of 777 square kilometers and is part of the Western Ghats mountain range. You can observe wild animals while cruising on a motor boat across Periyar Lake; some examples include elephants, wild boars, sambars, tigers, leopards, wild dogs and langur monkeys. Afterward we will stay overnight at a hotel.

Today, we are off to Kumarakom – one of the most beautiful villages in Kerala. Located on the eastern side of Vembanad Lake, it offers a variety of activities such as boating, yachting, fishing, surfing and swimming. We will also take a boat ride to Pathiramanal (Midnight Sands) – an isolated island in the lake that is perfect for picnics. As we cruise along the backwaters with its refreshing climate and lush green surroundings, you can experience nature’s beauty at its best! Tonight we’ll stay overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cochin Airport for your flight to Mumbai or Delhi. Upon arrival at the destination airport, you will then be taken to the international airport for your onward journey. This concludes our services.
